Form To Request A Baptism
Parents should contact the parish. One of the priests or deacons will ask you to fill in a form (a paper form or by email) To make contact, look at the contacts page .
The Catholic Church encourages parents to have their child baptised soon after birth. For this reason we ask parents to choose a date within the next three months. There are times when no baptisms are allowed, for example, during Holy Week
Only one godparent is necessary but you may have one male and one female. One godparent must be a Catholic, the other a baptised member of another Christian denomination (Anglican, Methodist…etc)
Because of the high demand, normally we only baptise those who live in the parish. Families living outside the parish seeking baptism must have a close links with the parish.
